This node is running over CoinRepublik testnet. The testnet is an alternative CoinRepublik block chain, to be used for testing.
Testnet coins are separate and distinct from actual CoinRepublik Coins. During ICO, testnet coins can be exchanged for real coins but after the ICO ends they will be useless and hold no value.
The test net allows application developers or CoinRepublik testers to experiment, without having to use real coins or worrying about breaking the main CoinRepublik network. The real network will be launched in Q2 2018. |
